The Changing and Saving Lives Foundation®, a 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 2023 to provide support and assistance to families in need, military members, veterans and first responders. We deliver this through programs such as NABC Recycled Rides® and NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.™). In 2025, we have, through these programs, presented some 250 vehicles to families, veterans and military members in need of reliable transportation and provided life-saving education on vehicle rescue techniques to more than 1,00 first responders.

On Wednesday, March 4, a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard received a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle as she actively works toward stability for her and her growing family. The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Allstate and repair partner Collision Experts, a member of Certified Collision Group.

NABC® Lone Star Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraiser Presented by Enterprise
The National Auto Body Council® announced it will host its annual Dallas golf fundraiser on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Bear Creek Golf Club West Course. The NABC® Lone Star Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraiser Presented by Enterprise will feature a NABC Recycled Rides® presentation, four-person scramble and awards reception. It is a great opportunity to join industry colleagues and customers for great golf and support the NABC®! And, of course, there is the opportunity to win bragging rights on the course, great raffle prizes and auction items!
National Auto Body Council® Announces Changing and Saving Lives Foundation® Keys for Change Program to Drive Funding for Critical Community Programs
The National Auto Body Council® is announcing a new program to allow automotive companies and consumers alike to help provide donations for the Changing and Saving Lives Foundation® to support the life-changing efforts of the NABC Recycled Rides® program and the life-saving initiatives of the NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.™) program. The Changing and Saving Lives Foundation® Keys for Change program offers the opportunity for those with unwanted vehicles to donate them in an easy, efficient and tax-exempt process, all while helping a good cause.
